How to Choose Smart Phones
Major smart phone manufactures include Apple, LG Electronics, Nokia, Motorola, Blackberry, Samsung and Palm. Smart phones can be purchased by the local carriers with a contract. But doing so can make you tied to that Carrier for a long time. It’s always better to purchase an unlocked cell phone from a retailer directly. Before purchasing a smart phone, decide on what kind of phone you want. Some offer business focused capabilities. With these types of smart phones you can create and edit documents and spreadsheets, and allow the use of Microsoft Outlook for email. Other types of smart phone are more focused towards personal use and have capabilities for multimedia and emails. It is also important on deciding which carrier to go with. Carriers use one of two digital networks. One is CDMA and the other being GSM. These networks play a big roll in the capabilities your smart phone will have and its performance.
